Automotive Aftermarket Copywriter & Content Specialist
I don’t just write about the automotive industry – I live it.
With more than 20 years of copywriting experience and a lifetime in the automotive enthusiast community, I help brands create content that connects with customers and drives results.
About Traci
If you’re looking for a writer who needs a crash course in automotive terminology before starting a project, that’s not me.
I’ve spent more than 20 years creating content, copy, and marketing materials for automotive brands, retailers, manufacturers, agencies, and ecommerce companies. During that time, I’ve written everything from product descriptions and buyer’s guides to email campaigns, landing pages, website content, SEO articles, and sales copy.
But writing is only part of the story.
I’ve been immersed in the automotive world for as long as I can remember.
In fact, my first automotive customization project happened long before I could drive. As a kid, I repainted my Barbie’s blue 1957 Chevy Bel Air because I didn’t want it to look like everyone else’s. Apparently, personalization started early.
That passion never went away.
Over the years, I’ve owned and customized multiple Chevy C10 trucks, shown mini trucks with air suspension, spent weekends at car shows, raced at the drag strip, and turned countless wrenches. From paint and body work to engine tuning and transmission rebuilds, I’ve always preferred learning by doing.
My automotive interests have always been diverse. Over the years, I’ve owned everything from custom trucks and mini trucks to modern performance cars, including a twin-turbo Porsche. Whether it’s a work truck, weekend toy, race vehicle, or restoration project, I’ve always been fascinated by what makes people passionate about their vehicles.
Because of that, I understand the products, customers, and culture behind the content I create.
I know the difference between writing for someone who needs a replacement part and someone who’s building their dream truck. I understand why enthusiasts obsess over details, why buyers spend hours researching products, and what motivates them to pull out their credit cards.
That’s why automotive companies hire me.
Not because I can string words together.
Because I can translate technical products and enthusiast passion into content that educates customers, builds trust, and supports sales.
More Than Automotive
When I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me working on our Louisiana farm.
I grew up on horseback before I could walk and spent years competing in barrel racing, pole bending, and rodeo events across Louisiana. Today, I continue to live the rural lifestyle with horses, cattle, chickens, and a growing homestead.
Life on a farm teaches you that work is never really finished. There’s always another fence to repair, another project to tackle, another problem to solve, or another opportunity to make things better.
That mindset carries over into every project I take on.
Whether it’s a farm, a vehicle, a business, or a piece of copy, I’m always looking for ways to improve performance, create better results, and help things run more efficiently.
What I Bring to Every Project
Along with decades of automotive experience, I’ve spent years studying marketing, direct response copywriting, SEO, customer psychology, and the work of legendary copywriters like David Ogilvy, Claude Hopkins, John Caples, Joseph Sugarman, Eugene Schwartz, Gary Halbert, Dan Kennedy, Clayton Makepeace, and many others.
The result is a combination that’s surprisingly hard to find:
A writer who understands both marketing and the automotive industry.
I don’t write content simply to fill space on a website. Every piece has a purpose, whether that’s improving search visibility, supporting ecommerce sales, generating leads, educating customers, or helping buyers make confident purchasing decisions.
Whether I’m writing product descriptions, buyer’s guides, email campaigns, landing pages, or SEO content, my goal is always the same:
Create content that works as hard as the business behind it.
